How E-Mail Marketing Can Be Successful

If you have a capture page, blog site, or website, then you know the importance of e-mail marketing. Effective e-mail marketing gives you the ability to send out newsletters and e-mails that will build the confidence of your prospects so that they will be interested in you and buying from you.

Generally, the definition for e-mail marketing is building a list of loyal readers that you can make sales to through e-mail promotions.

If you want your readers to hear from you again and again good content is essential so that readers feel like you are a valuable asset to them. you need to give them good ideas and information that that will helping them to progress in their business

What makes E-mail marketing lucrative?

1. It’s quick, you can get a message out to everyone on your list. Very fast.

2. it can be made to order for each client you can do this by categorizing your list this will give you the ability to tailor the information that’s relevant for each e-mail campaign

3. It can become infectious. As one person sees the value of the information and products you offer, they will naturally want to share it with everyone of their friends and contacts helping you to become wider known

4. It’s cost effective, You won’t have to spend money on snail mail any longer when you use e-mail to promote your business

There are some risks to e-mail marketing. If you don’t use proper e-mail etiquette with your e-mail campaigns. You could find yourself in deep trouble.

Important points to remember when it comes to e-mail etiquette.

First, when you have someone to opt in to your e-mail campaign, make sure you ask permission. Only when you have the permission of the person that you’re marketing to will campaigns work. Without this permission, you will more than likely never get past this prospects Spam filters.

Also remember that permission loses its power over time, no matter how you get someone’s e-mail address. Don’t wait, you need to send them something right away. If you wait weeks or months, they will probably not remember who you are and what you are about. So they might just delete it or maybe even unsubscribe to your list. So be sure to send them a welcome e-mail. Maybe something with your most recent blog post, give them value right away. Then they will have you fresh in their mind and look forward to your next message.

it’s important that you include an unsubscribe link or an opt out link giving them instructions how to be removed from your list. If they opt out, take them off immediately, at least within 10 days. Remember, it’s the law if they unsubscribe, you must remove their name. Otherwise you could be branded as as a spammer, make sure prospects know what they are signing up for and use a service like Get-Response or Aweber. They will help you take care of this issue

It’s also important not to just sell every time you talk to a prospect in an e-mail,telling him that they have to buy now. Share points about yourself. Tell a funny story, give them value maybe a tip from a blog site or a webpage that you have, treat them like they are important to you. Not just a sales prospect, and never use the CAP Lock key, or words like “bonus” “money” or “free

Online Cheating a Big Problem?


One of the clouds appearing on the horizon for online universities is The College Opportunity and Affordability Act signed by President Bush late in 2008. This new law requires universities to authenticate test takers taking online courses through costly identification technology or with exam proctors.


The federal Education Department is expected to release guidelines for implementing this new law in the months ahead so the new law can be made effective later this year or early 2010.
